These are just some of the ways that you can help
Lunch Preparation. Mon, Wed, Fri, 10:30 to 11:45 am. We are looking for volunteers on any or all of these days. The menu and ingredients are provided. The task is simply to prepare lunch for up to 30 young children, and filling out simple USDA paperwork for lunch time.
Lunch Break Assistance. Mon-Fri, 11:30 am to 2 pm, 1 to 2 pm. This task involves being the second person in a classroom when teachers need to go on their lunch break. It may involve assisting with the children, or may be when children are sleeping. If that is the case, the volunteer would simply be in the room and help the teacher prepare for the week's activities.
Office Assistance. Mon-Fri, 3 to 5 pm. Answering the telephone at the reception desk, and accepting any walk-in donations.
Residential Meeting Help. First Wednesday of each month from 4:15 to 5:45 pm. We need assistance watching the children while their mothers are in a mandatory residential meeting. This task would be done with a teacher in the child care center.
